Myndstream and Shared Beauty Secrets introduce new treatment blending sound, touch and scent

Health and wellbeing music provider Myndstream has collaborated with Shared Beauty Secrets, treatment developer and training organisation, to unveil a new multisensory spa ritual at The InterContinental Hotel London Park Lane.
Drawing on scientific principles, the 85-minute Sound Escape Massage has been curated to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system (the body’s principal engine for relaxation) which promotes physiological healing processes, reduces stress and regulates blood pressure.
The £170 (US$217, €205) journey begins with an aromatic 60-minute full-body massage set to a custom Myndstream soundscape, composed to soothe the mind and restore inner calm. As guests unwind, therapists apply Shared Beauty Secrets’ signature self-heating Escape eye masks to enhance sensory focus and encourage deeper immersion.
Next, guests relax for 25 minutes on a zero-gravity dry flotation bed, wrapped in warm blankets and wearing noise-cancelling headphones playing Myndstream soundscapes. This immersive experience is designed to promote deep relaxation, with effects said to be comparable to several hours of restful sleep.
The journey concludes with time spent in the relaxation area with a warm cup of mint tea.
Freddie Moross, founder of Myndstream, commented: “We’re excited to be partnering with Shared Beauty Secrets to combine our passion for delivering truly unforgettable client experiences. This immersive treatment – rooted in science – combines massage, sound and scent for a truly multisensory experience that delivers enhanced health and wellbeing benefits.
“Not only will your clients love it, but it will also set your spa apart from the competition and drive repeat business.”
In addition to the full-length treatment, two shorter options are now available at the InterContinental Spa:
• Sound Escape Dry Flotation – 25 minutes // £50 (US$64, €60): A stand-alone zero- gravity journey.• Sound Escape Chair Massage – 20 minutes // £45 (US$57, €54): A body-type-tailored seated massage.
Both incorporate Myndstream’s outcome-focused audio and Shared Beauty Secrets’ heated eye masks.
The treatments will remain exclusive to the London spa until the end of January 2025, after which spas globally will have the option to add them to their menus.
The music featured in the rituals is part of Myndstream’s curated collection, available exclusively on its streaming platform, The Stream.
Shared Beauty Secrets is offering discounted training for the Sound Escape treatments to new trial users of The Stream, including a 14-day free trial and a training pack for £25 (US$32, €30) – down from £75 (US$96, €91).

In other news this week from Myndstream, the brand has unveiled its highly anticipated wellness music album, Yellow, a collaboration with renowned producer Timbaland and handpan artist Malte Martin.
Nearly two years in development, the album is designed to enhance listeners’ health and wellbeing by promoting relaxation, focus and stress relief. Yellow is now available on major music platforms, with a special edition set to launch on The Stream in 2025.
