Worthington submits Keighley proposals
Surrey-based Worthington Group has submitted plans for a new mixed-use development in Keighley, West Yorkshire, to Bradford Metropolitan Borough Council.
Expected to cost around £30m, the planning application for the project incorporates a hotel; a cinema complex; retail outlets; and residential units, as well as industrial space. The company will consider seeking funding to carry out the development in its entirety or in phases, with each stage funding the next. A joint venture partner may also be sought.
A spokesperson for Worthington Group said: "Once we have secured planning permission we will be better placed to determine how we should proceed. "We may also seek to sell the site outright with the benefit of planning permission and potentially funding and use the funds to pursue other opportunities."
