Wexer adds Beachbody workouts to virtual fitness platforms
Beachbody – the global fitness brand behind Insanity and P90X – has partnered with digital specialist Wexer to offer its workouts in gyms worldwide.
The deal means gym-goers will be able to select exercise classes from the Beachbody On Demand library, the brand’s fitness streaming service.
Customers will be able to experience a series of classes, including mixed martial arts workouts, yoga and sessions combining cardio and strength training. Workouts from the P90X and Insanity series will also be available.
Founded in 1998 by Carl Daikeler and Jon Congdon, Beachbody has created some of the most popular fitness and weight-loss solutions in the US, such as P90X, Insanity and PiYo.
Wexer chief executive Paul Bowman said series such as Insanity had already proved “incredibly popular among gym members”.
Bill Bradford, chief digital officer at Beachbody, added: “Beachbody constantly strives to help people achieve their goals and live a healthy, fulfilling life, and we’re excited to work towards this mission with Wexer as they expand their platform in leading gyms around the world.”
