United Fitness Brands snaps up Triyoga
United Fitness Brands (UFB) has added London-based operator Triyoga to its portfolio.
Triyoga, which operates five studios across London, UK, is the fourth brand to join the newly launched fitness and wellbeing ‘supergroup’ of boutiques fitness operators which already includes Boom Cycle, Kobox and Barrecore.
Founded by fitness entrepreneur Jonathan Sattin in 2000 – and combining yoga, Pilates and treatments – Triyoga has also built up an online business that includes its own branded app.
The operator will now come under the UFB umbrella, which is backed by Pembroke VCT, Nectar Capital and Dominvs Group and chaired by industry veteran, David Lloyd.
The procurement of Triyoga will extend the UFB portfolio to more than 25 sites across the UK.
UFB was launched this year, after the founders of indoor cycling studio operator Boom Cycle teamed up with the owners of 'fight club meets nightclub' boxing studio, Kobox.
It has announced a mission to become Europe's largest boutique studio chain.
Joe Cohen, CEO of UFB, says; “We're pleased to welcome Triyoga to our curation of brands and we aim to uphold the values of authenticity and excellence that Jonathan Sattin and his team have created.
"This deal adds another dimension of wellness to our company and we're looking forward to growing the business and sharing ideas.”
Each brand in the UFB portfolio is run by its own expert team under the senior management team at UFB to ensure "the highest quality and delivery of every experience".
