The third annual Vision XS Experience Conference for attraction operators will take place at The Oxford Centre in Oxford, England, on Wednesday 4 July.

Providing an unique educational opportunity, this year’s event will highlight a wide range of key areas of operation in visitor attractions of all types, from theme parks and zoos, children’s play centres and FECs to safari parks and museums, heritage sites and visitor centres, to name but a few.

In addition to speakers from the Vision XS team, a host of experts from a variety of attraction venues and professional disciplines will be participating to provide delegates with insights into some of the most important aspects of attraction operation. Participants will include senior representatives from facilities such as Gold Reef City theme park in South Africa and the UK’s Port Lympne Zoo, Crealy Adventure Parks, Museum of Science and Industry Manchester, Woburn Safari Park, Willows Adventure Farm and KidsPlay.

Subjects to be covered will include the planning of brand new attractions, ticket pricing, spend per head, visitor flow, creating an experience plan and getting your money’s worth from suppliers, while case studies will show how putting these vital aspects into practice can reap the desired rewards. And, of course, delegates will also learn how Vision’s unique and highly successful X-Mod experience modelling software can be put to use in their own attractions. A new ideas and products review will also be incorporated into the day’s events.

The conference will be followed by a social event to remember, with attendees having the chance to enjoy ‘punting and Pimms’ on the River Thames followed by a relaxed, informal dinner at Cherwell Boathouse and evening entertainment.

“This year’s conference will involve some new seminar formats that will enlighten the useful information on offer with a little entertainment,” noted Vision XS CEO Tony Sefton. “It promises to be one of the best networking and educational events of the year and delegates will have the option to partake in drinks/punting and a fabulous dinner to finish off what will be a great day.”

Further information on the event can be obtained from Vision XS on +44 (0)1865 408323
