UKFN membership boosts fitness levels
More than 80 per cent of UK Fitness Network (UKFN) members feel that their membership has helped them improve their fitness levels.
This year's online member research carried out by Proleisure shows that UK Fitness Network members continue to enjoy the wide choice of centres available to them.
This is reflected in the online survey results that show over 80% feel that their membership has led to increased fitness levels and 65 per cent improved health benefits.
This years results show that two thirds of UKFN members are enjoying the use of more than 2 centres on a regular basis, seeing the choice of over 100 centres and clubs as a major benefit, along with value for money.
As one member stated: "I think for the amount I pay for the facilities and quality of class teachers is outstanding...a million times better than the private gym I used to go to."
Another member stated that "the UKFN is great" and that they are "looking forward to going to centres outside my area soon to try different classes".
The UKFN would like to thank our members and ensure them that we value their feedback.
The UKFN is a collaboration of the UK Leisure trusts, who's ambition is to join up the UK's trust run leisure centres, born out of the successful London Fitness Network pilot scheme which launched January 2004, the UKFN is a group of 13 likeminded not for profit leisure trusts operating 126 leisure centres across the UK.
The UKFN was formed in February this 2009 and agreed to make communication and research at the heart of its priorities.
