Typhoo Sport for All launched
Typhoo Tea is sponsoring a course to help train coaches to include people with disabilities in their sports sessions.
Money from every pack of Typhoo purchased will help to fund the Typhoo Sport for All project operated by the Federations of Disability Sport.
The investment will pay for specific resources and equipment required by coaches to enable them to become increasingly skilled in encouraging and enabling people with disabilities to participate in a wider spectrum of sporting activities.
Sir Geoff Hurst said: "I feel that this campaign is extremely worthwhile in helping to make a range of sports accessible to disabled people, enabling them to remain active and take part in everyday sport.
"Exercise is something which many of us take for granted and something which should be readily available to everyone. The Typhoo Sports for All campaign is working hard to make this possible.
"I am appealing to anyone in the fitness industry to come on board and help raise the profile of the campaign to secure even more support."
