Amber Restaurant, housed beneath Edinburgh’s Scotch Whisky Experience, has recently won praise from no less than three well known food reviews, ‘Top Table, ‘The List’ and ‘Eat Scotland.’

Top Table’s diners have put Amber on their Top Rated list thanks to consistent high marks on the diner review section of their website describing Amber as ‘a paragon of all that’s great about Scottish food and drink.’

The List has ranked Amber as one of its few ‘Hit List’ restaurants in the new Eating & Drinking guide to Edinburgh. “If ever a restaurant strived to encompass all that is great about Scottish cuisine, Amber is it.”

Eat Scotland’s reviewer rated Amber highly as ‘a classy venue with great flavours and interesting concepts… – a whisky lovers paradise.

A unique feature of the restaurant is the fantastic whisky bar with 300 different single malts, blends and liqueurs and a resident whisky advisor.

The restaurant has also announced that it will be open for evening dining as well as lunches during the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
