Top 40 under 40 revealed
Stelios Haji Ioannou and Richard Livingstone have made the top 10 of this year’s 40 most successful young entrepreneurs in Britain as determined by The Daily Telegraph newspaper.
The list was compiled by using the individual’s wealth and their age – all needed to be either 40 or under at 13 August 2005.
The leisure-based entrepreneurs in the top 10 – Stelios Haji Ioannou, owner of easygroup, at number five and Richard Livingstone, the property developer whose largest company is London & Regional Group Holdings at number six.
Other top 40 leisure businessmen included Betfair co-owner Edward Wray at 18; Paul and Stephen Harrison at 30, who own the majority of shares in construction company Harron Group and former Brands Hatch owner Nicola Foulston at number 34.
The list was confined to British entrepreneurs, or to foreign-born citizens who have spent most of their working lives in the UK and whose chief income source is generated in the UK. Details: www.dailytelegraph.co.uk
