Three new centres for Everyone Active
Management company Everyone Active has opened two new leisure venues in Daventry and Ely, while also renewing its contract to operate Waterfield Leisure Centre in Melton Mowbray.
All three centres will be operated in partnership with their respective local authorities and recently received a combined total of £3m worth of improvements.
Daventry Leisure Centre, operated on behalf of Daventry District Council, has undergone a £500,000 modernisation programme while Paradise Pools in Ely (East Cambs District Council), has seen an investment of £50,000 on improving the changing village and reception areas.
Meanwhile, Everyone Active will continue to operate the Waterfield Leisure Centre on behalf of Melton Mowbray Borough Council, which has invested £2.5m in a modernisation programme.
David Bibby, managing director of Everyone Active's parent company Sports Leisure Management, said: "We are delighted to be operating two new centres and retaining a third in quick succession."
