Thousands raised for Hospitality Action at Heart of England Centenary Dinner
Around 100 guests raised almost £8,000 for Hospitality Action at the British Hospitality Association’s Centenary Dinner at Fawsley Hall last week.
After-dinner speaker Peter Hancock, chief executive of Pride of Britain, brought the event to a rousing close after guests had generously raised a not inconsiderable sum for the industry’s benevolent organisation at the charity dinner on Thursday 24 May.
Bob Cotton, chief executive of the BHA, and Penny Moore, chief executive of Hospitality Action, also addressed the evening’s attendees, and a spectacular evening was rounded off with a fabulous fireworks display.
Earlier guests were treated to a superb four-course menu devised and prepared by a team of the region’s finest chefs led by Andreas Antona of Simpson’s, Tom Earle of Hart’s, Colin Seymour of Dormy House, and Matt Dennison of Fawsley Hall.
The dinner was organised and orchestrated by association member Jeffrey Crockett, managing director of Fawsley Hall, with support and assistance from members Hilary Hall of MARCH, David Field of Dormy Hall Hotel and Jean Webb of Moor Hall Hotel.
A full report on the event will be included in the next edition of Hospitality Matters>.
