The Lanesborough teams up with Bodyism for dual membership offer
Luxury private health club The Lanesborough Club & Spa has signed a partnership deal with 'über-boutique' gym Bodyism to create a dual membership offer.
New members joining either club will be given the option to acquire full membership at both clubs.
The deal is an extension of an existing partnership, which has seen Bodyism founder and trainer James Duigan lead fitness sessions at The Lanesborough.
It is the latest in a trend of health clubs offering access – or even full memberships – to partnering facilities and gyms, in order to offer members a variety of experiences.
“This new joint membership is the natural next step for the two clubs,” a spokesperson for The Lanesborough said in a statement.
“It will no doubt transform the way West Londoners train. Dual club members will be able to visit their preferred trainers at both clubs.”
Located at the historic Lanesborough Hotel in London’s Knightsbridge, The Lanesborough Club & Spa is spread over 18,000sq ft (1,672sq m), and is marketed as a ‘luxury club for life’, with a focus on wellbeing.
Facilities include a large, open-plan gym floor fitted with a range of CV and cardio stations, Keiser indoor cycles, K2 rowing machines and a group class and training studio, used for pilates, yoga, HIIT TRX and the Duigan-led Bodyism sessions.
The Bodyism gym is located in Notting Hill and features a team of resident experts – from performance specialists, sports massage therapists and nutrition coaches to holistic healers.
Founder James Duigan said: “The dual membership will allow us to take care of our members from both sides of Hyde Park, helping them to become the healthiest and happiest version of themselves.”
The Lanesborough club also has a large luxury spa. Created in partnership by interior design practice 1508 and Neil Howard of Howard Spa Consulting, features treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy pool alongside gender-specific thermal suites, experience shower and a ‘quiet room’.
