TEA announces winners of Thea Awards
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter cleared the table of awards at this year's Thea Awards ceremony, held during the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida.
The attraction - at the Universal Resort in Orlando, Florida - was handed a total of four awards by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).
The attraction received gongs for best New Theme Park Land; best Thematic Integration of Retail, Food & Beverage Experiences; best Feature Attraction; and best Technical Achievement.
Other winners included the National Infantry Museum in San Francisco, US, and the Glasnevin Museum in Dublin, Ireland.
The awards, organised by TEA, are in their 17th year and seek to gauge and celebrate excellence in storytelling that supports the creation of compelling places and guest experiences.
