Sponsored Knowledge Workshops precede the Global Spa & Wellness Summit
The Global Spa & Wellness Summit has extended its agenda to include its first ever sponsored Knowledge Workshops, taking place before the event officially kicks off. The workshops will be held on 9 September ahead of the Summit scheduled for 10-12 September.
The three workshops include Moroccan Hammam: Its History, Benefits and Future, led by Talal Bin Ali, founder and president of Saudi Arabian company Enaya Care International and co-hosted by its development and marketing manager Ahmed Al-Awadi.
Dr Nasim Ashraf, founder of DNA Health Corp in the United Arab Emirates, will host A New Model of Health & Wellness. DNA Health Corp was founded by US-based senior medical practitioners to transform healthcare for the 21st Century; it’s mission is to assist with healthy ageing and lifestyle changes to improve the quality of life.
Stay Well: Wellness-Infused Hotel Room Programming is a workshop that will be delivered by Paul Scialla, founder of Delos Living from the US. In 2012 Delos introduced the WELL Building Standard – the world’s first building standard focused exclusively on enhancing people’s health and wellbeing in direct ways through structural environments.
Thanking gold and silver sponsors for making the eighth annual Summit possible, chair and CEO of GSWS Susie Ellis said: “Having the participation and partnership of global companies like these allows us to shape and define our industry together.”
