Speaker line-up revealed for Event Show
The Event Show, taking place on 21-22 January 2009 at Olympia in London, UK, has announced the line-up of speakers for its Access Sessions.
John Probyn, Festival Director for Live Nation will host a Question Time style debate on the opening day at 11.30am. The panel will include Stuart Galbraith, who chief executive at Kilimanjaro Live and Roger Barrett, development director of Star Events Group.
At 2.00pm, under the heading of Silver Machine, visitors will hear from Francois Delaroziere, the artistic director and engineer of the 37 tonne, 50ft-high robotic spider, 'La Princesse' that hit the headlines as it crawled through the streets of Liverpool as part of the City of Culture celebrations.
Other speakers during the event include Helen Marriage, director at events company Artichoke; Alan Jacobi, managing director of Unusual; Geoff Ellis, chief executive at DF Concerts; and Alison Tickell, director of energy management specialist Julie's Bicycle.
Admission to the Access Sessions is free and will be on a first come, first served basis.
