Dead Sea product company, Finders International, has announced plans to open a 'Spa Concept Shop' in Singapore early next year, with a view to rolling out the concept in the Far East.

The new venture is being launched in partnership with The Aspara, a well-known chain of spas in the region operated by SpaCare International.

SpaCare, headed up by ISPA Asia president Peter Sng, is a subsidiary of Cosmoprof International.

The Concept Shop will be an interactive experience, combining a retail area with a clinic where customers can try out Finders' skincare treatments and mineral water installations, such as the Hydrofloat and Aqualux systems.

The retail area will include a mineral water feature, such as a river or water wall, and customers will also be able to touch and try out products before they buy.

Matthew Lim has been appointed director of marketing to spearhead the operation.

'The industry is at an early stage in the Asia Pacific and there are plenty of opportunities for growth,' he says. Details: +44 (0)1580 211055
