Six Senses launches at Porto Elounda in Crete
A luxury new Six Senses Spa has opened at Porto Elounda on the Greek island of Crete.
Located on a peninsula overlooking an expanse of the Aegean Sea, the spa offers a wide selection of holistic and wellbeing treatments.
It covers two levels and has a total of 23 treatment areas.
The focal point of the spa is a tepidarium while other facilities include a Junior Suite with a dry float room, thalassotherapy suites with a seawater air and jet tub and treatment rooms suitable for couples.
The architecture of the spa blends water, stone, glass, wood and murals and design features include a marble and glass pond with Panairas-inspired murals.
The Porto Elounda spa follows other newly opened Six Senses Spas at properties including the Heritance Kandalama in Sri Lanka and the PuntaCana Resort in the Dominican Republic.
Other Six Senses Spas scheduled to open this year will be located in Qatar, Vietnam, Jordan, Oman, Thailand and India.
