Sibec Asia broadens its horizons for 2003
The second Sibec Asia is set to take place this month at the Mutiara Beach Resort in Penang, Malaysia.
Last year's event was the first ever meetings forum for the Asia Pacific health, fitness and spa industries and attracted operators from five countries.
Organisers Pelican Events have this year attracted Asian fitness chains from ten different countries, including California Fitness, Alexander, Fitness First and Clark Hatch.
'This year's event is a giant step forward, and seems to have captured the interest of many of the people who are driving the growth of this industry in Asia,' says the event's co-director, Jonathan Needs.
The event, taking place from 13-15 February, consists of a series of pre-organised face-to-face meetings between buyers and suppliers.
There will also be four seminar sessions, including a panel debate on the state of the fitness industry. Details: www.mcleanevents.com
