Shropshire's Serenity Spa unveils £40k revamp
Shropshire's Serenity wellness centre and spa has revealed £40,000 of refurbishment and expansion at its church premises adjacent to Shrewsbury Castle.
The spa now boasts a new spa suite with the town's first Arabian Rasul and a salt cave - a reproduction of a natural salt microclimate aimed at improving respiratory problems.
Laura Butler, 26, who opened the spa seven years ago, said: "Along with the introduction of the new spa facilities we are working on a general refurbishment with a new reception area and will be looking to recruit new administration staff and new therapists."
"We hope that the facilities will attract people from outside of the area looking to experience an Arabian Rasul and the salt cave as we are situated close to the train station, and once they are here they will see all of the wonderful things the town has to offer."
