Independent German club targets those who want to see results
The finishing touches have now been put to Seilsprung, a new independently owned 800sq m club in Weilerswist, near Cologne in Germany.
Run by brother and sister team Markus and Karoline Schulte, the overall philosophy of the club is to offer high quality member support with frequently updated, individual workout plans, as well as nutritional advice and some of the latest technology.
Facilities include strength and cardio areas, a functional training zone, two group fitness studios, a crèche, healthy café and outdoor activity area with beach volleyball.
Star Trac’s HumanSport functional training circuit is on offer in the gym; with six machines, this allows for hundreds of customised exercises to build body strength, reduce body fat, increase muscle, improve posture, enhance sports performance and decrease injury-related pain.
The Dr Wolff Back Check is also available in the club, to analyse strength in relation to used muscle groups, and to locate which muscle groups need to be strengthened.
Aimed at people who want to invest in their health, memberships costs €18.95 per week for a flexible membership, €16.50 a month on a 12-month contract, or €13.95 a month for a 24-month membership.
The club has been built by the brother and sister team and, for the foreseeable future, they will be focusing on running this single site, as opposed to opening any further clubs.
