Save 20 per cent at top Shetland attractions
Visitors wanting to see some of the best of Shetland’s heritage can save on the ticket price from now until the end of October.
The special offer applies to Jarlshof Norse and prehistoric settlement and Old Scatness Broch nearby.
Each of these remarkable sites has a history stretching back thousands of years and gives fascinating insights into life on Shetland and how it has changed.
Visitors simply have to keep their tickets from the first site they visit and present them when they turn up at the second they will be eligible for a 20 per cent discount. For two adults and two children going to Jarlshof that means that one child gets in free and the other pays just £1.75.
Gillian Crowther, Historic Scotland Business Development, Admissions, said: “This offer is a great way to make handy savings while enjoying some of Shetland’s fantastic heritage attractions. It has proved popular in the past and we hope lots of people will take the opportunity to see these two fascinating sites and discover more about the islands’ rich past.”
Jarlshof is cared for by Historic Scotland and Old Scatness Broch and Iron Age Village by the Shetland Amenity Trust.
