The Swimming Teachers' Association (STA) has launched a new online management tool for swiming pool operators.

The product, STA Admin, has been designed as a simple-to-use, one-stop site that enables leisure organisations to keep account of staff training, qualifications, assessments; health and safety; and pool management.

Alan Siddons, STA business development director, said the tool has been developed for use by all operators from a single pool to "global organisations".

"We believe the system will radically change the way that leisure organisations and companies manage key areas of their business," Siddons said.

"It will transform efficiencies and enable the promotion of best and safe practice, particularly in relation to health and safety, staff training and qualifications."
