SLM secures Cotswold contract
Sports Leisure Management (SLM) has won the contract to run leisure and cultural services owned by Cotswold District Council.
The 10-year deal includes leisure centres at Cirencester, Chipping Campden and Bourton on the Water, plus cultural services at the Corinium Museum in Cirencester and a resource centre in Northleach.
To be operated under SLM's Everyone Active brand, the three leisure centres and the Corinium Museum bring the total number of venues managed by SLM to 81, including nearby centres in Stroud and Stratford-upon-Avon.
Barry Gibbs, cabinet member for customer services, said: "We're confident that SLM will do a good job and we are looking forward to working in partnership with their team to deliver the contract."
SLM will take over the operations on 1 July.
