SHOKK interactive gym for Cheshire East
SHOKK, the youth activity people, have secured a pioneering tender with Cheshire East Council and Central and Eastern Cheshire PCT. The objective is to help them to increase physical activity opportunities and a healthy lifestyle, for all age ranges within the community.
The first phase of the project has been the renovation of Shavington Leisure Centre, Crewe, which includes a revolutionary SHOKK interactive gym. The new centre has been designed with the local requirements in mind and will deliver a community focused interactive activity facility to engage everyone. SHOKK were enlisted due to their expertise in the interactive market and they have installed a wide range of their latest equipment offerings. The facility hosts the SHOKK Target Wall, state of the art SHOKK Dance System with 12 wireless dance mats, SHOKK Box, SHOKK WUSHU, Traverse Wall and Vew Do balance boards. All part the SHOKK X-ertain range of products, which focus on engaging everyone in physical activity in a fun and entertaining way.
Justine Williams, SHOKK Sales Director, commented: "We are really pleased to be working on this project as it emulates exactly what SHOKK is all about. The SHOKK concept concentrates on motivating everyone to get active and more importantly for them to enjoy it. The new gym includes our top product range and will offer new ways of getting the community on to their feet and moving, helping the PCT and Council achieve their targets."
