Rumble accelerates US expansion with Washington launch
Boxing-inspired group fitness provider Rumble will open a studio in Washington D.C. on 12 April 2019 – its first in the US capital city.
The opening is the first of a number of new studio launches for Rumble, which currently has multiple locations in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The Washington opening will be followed by further new sites in Philadelphia, Palo Alto, Chicago, Boston, and Brooklyn.
"We're excited to be entering our nation's capital as part of our Rumble expansion," said CEO Andy Stenzler.
"The Rumble family is looking forward to joining the booming fitness community in this great city."
Rumble offers 45-minute, 10-round, strength and conditioning classes based on the science of boxing.
The brand has become popular among a number of celebrity fitness enthusiasts – including Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner, David Beckham and Kevin Hart.
Rumble was founded by Noah Neiman – a former Barry's Bootcamp master trainer – in partnership with entrepreneurs Eugene Remm, Andrew Stenzler and former Google executive Anthony DiMarco.
The company is also backed by premium fitness group Equinox, which operates 96 upscale, full-service clubs across the world.
As part of the expansion plans, Rumble will be launching a treadmill-based concept, Rumble Treading, and a digital platform featuring Rumble content in 2019.
