Roux at The Landau opens in London
Albert Roux and Michel Roux Jr have unveiled a new restaurant at The Langham, London - the first time the father and son pair have worked together in 19 years.
Roux at The Landau - the David Collins-designed signature restaurant - follows the opening of Roux at Parliament Square in May. Chris King has been appointed chef de cuisine at the new restaurant, having completed an apprenticeship and worked at La Gavroche - another Roux property.
Meanwhile, restaurant manager Franco Becci and head sommelier Zach Saghir complete the front-of-house team at Roux at The Landau. King's team will also create food for the private dining room, Postillion. Roux Jr said: "Chris King is a rising star, and his menus reflect the Roux trademark style of classically-constructed French dishes, blended with today's tastes for lighter choices."
