Rollout continues at Gansevoort
The expansion within the Gansevoort Hotel Group (GHG) is continuing with the announcement of third party management ventures for Gansevoort Toronto and Gansevoort Chicago, both of which will boast a spa as part of their facilities when they open in 2012.
Most recently, GHG opened the Gansevoort Turks & Caicos, a Wymara Resort in March 2009. The 91-bedroom property on the main tourist island of Providenciales is located in the western area of Grace Bay Beach and boast reef-protected ocean waters on its beachfront.
Built by the Apollo Development Company, the Turks & Caicos resort offers a 7,000sq ft (650.3sq m) infinity-edged swimming pool as well as an Exhale Spa. The original Hotel Gansevoort opened in New York City's historic Meatpacking district in 2004, featuring G-Spa, a spa-lounge concept.
GHG is a subsidiary of WSA Management, a real estate development and management firm. Its principals have developed and/or owned over 6 million square feet of office and industrial space and have more than 65 years combined experience in the real estate trade. Details: gansevoorthotelgroup.com
