Regular survey monitors health and fitness attitudes
By
A regular survey is to be carried out to investigate the nation's attitude towards health and fitness.
The Health and Fitness Omnibus Survey (HAFOS), developed by Leisure-net Solutions, is being run in partnership with the FIA, supported by LIW and Bodylife. Over 2000 people will be questioned in different regions throughout the UK on a range of issues. The sample will be increased to 3-4000 in subsequent six monthly studies.
The survey will also examine consumer attitudes towards major brands and operators. The results will be presented at the Bodylife/LIW/FIA 'Supershow' in September. Details: www.fia.org.uk
