Queensland Government seeks comments on draft alert
The Queensland Government (Workplace Health & Safety) is seeking comments on the attached draft alert prepared by John Huang Snr Workplace Health & Safety Adviser-Mech Technology Service Unit, Workplace Health and Safety Queensland Department of Employment and Industrial Relations.
It has been developed to prevent injuries to people (especially operators), who may be at risk of being hit by moving parts of amusement devices. This issue has been highlighted by a recent fatal incident in the USA and an incident, which occurred nearly two years ago at Luna Park in Sydney.
