Pulse looks to the future
Pulse, provider of total fitness solutions, is looking to the future for this year’s LIW exhibition at the NEC Birmingham.
Through extensive research and development programmes, with a focus on modern living and mobile lifestyles, Pulse has identified the need to offer flexible exercise solutions to both gyms and gym users.
People aged between 20 and 30 years are the group most likely to opt out of fitness, which could mean obesity and related illnesses would be on the increase.
Managing Director of Pulse, Chris Johnson says: “ As obesity hits record levels in the UK it is vital that the fitness industry acts now to curb a potentially disastrous habit that could ultimately place our industry in jeopardy.”
The research conducted by Pulse has identified the home market as the biggest potential area for growth over the next 10 years. The need for flexibility, and to make sure that exercise does not interfere with gym users lifestyles both featured highly in the research results.
Pulse Fitness is the dedicated equipment arm of leading global leisure solutions provider The Pulse Group. Over the last 39 years, The Pulse Group has provided support to more than 30,000 leisure facilities in 30 countries across six continents. Pulse currently provides fitness solutions to over 100 UK clubs and operates 15 fitness, leisure and soccer centres.
