Pulse and FIBO celebrate 30 years of business
Leading fitness solutions provider Pulse was recently presented with a plaque by the FIBO exhibition organisers to commemorate 30 years of business.
Established in 1980 by brothers Christopher and David Johnson, Pulse grew from freeweight equipment engineering beginnings to become a total leisure solutions provider. Pulse currently has a client base of more than 3,000 companies and operates in a total of 30 countries.
Commenting on Pulse’s considerable longevity, Chris Johnson, managing director, said: "The fitness industry has seen many changes and innovations over the past 30 years. I feel our success has been our drive to provide a full spectrum of services, whilst being at the forefront of technology. 2010 is a very exciting year for Pulse for product innovation, new build projects, the launch of our first soccer centre and lots more."
Amongst the inclusive cardiovascular, resistance and freeweights equipment on the Pulse stand at FIBO, Pulse launched SmartCentre V4 software, which was exclusively featured in the new wall-mounted kiosk. New software features include additional reports, improved navigation and screen layouts, additional languages and customer feedback features.
FIBO visitors also received a sneak preview of iDANCE2 software for Dance Machine, with new features including player tracking software, screen graphics, music and step charts.
