Pinnacle outlines River City Casino plans
Pinnacle Entertainment has unveiled its plans to add a new 200-room hotel to the facilities at River City Casino in St Louis, US, as part of an US$82m (£51.9m, EUR59.4m) expansion.
A 10,000sq ft (929sq m) multi-purpose events complex and parking for approximately 1,700 cars have also been earmarked as part of the company's vision for the venue. First opened in March 2010, it is hoped that work will get underway on River City Casino's new facilities in the first quarter of 2012 and will be completed during the latter half of 2013.
Pinnacle Entertainment president and CEO Anthony Sanfilippo said: "This investment in River City demonstrates our ongoing commitment to ensure we can continue to meet the long-term needs of current and potential new guests. "We believe this investment will promote the growth of tourism in this market, specifically in south St. Louis County and the city of Lemay."
