Thai restaurant operator Patara has continued its expansion push by opening its fourth site, in the heart of London’s Soho.

The new West End property, located on Greek Street, has been promoted as the group’s flagship restaurant and will seek to tap in to the famous theatre district’s lucrative evening trade by offering a daily pre-theatre menu.

The 2,650sq ft (246sq m) restaurant has 108 covers and was designed by Ou Baholyodhin and Dols Wong Architects. The main dining area is set around a lacquered and gold leafed miniature Thai palace which acts as the restaurant’s central feature.

Patara Soho’s menu will be constantly updated and includes game and organic meats with an emphasis on seasonal sea food.

The restaurant’s drinks menu will also feature a number of signature cocktails, designed by acclaimed drinks creator Brian Lucas.
