Panoramic spa for Parisien towers
Two multi-use towers with a spa and hanging gardens are planned for the La Défense district of Paris, France.
The Hermitage Towers will be built near two of the city’s landmarks, the Louvre Palace and the Arc de Triomphe. One tower will be 1,013ft (309m) tall with 76 floors and the other will be 886ft (264m) with 66 floors.
The towers will be linked by a structure suspended over a vast gate and will offer residential accommodation as well as a hotel, concert hall, skating rink and contemporary art centre.
The spa will be located on the top four floors of the highest tower and will boast panoramic views over the River Seine and across the greater Paris landscape.
Reported to be the tallest multi-purpose building in western Europe, it will be built on a total site area of 107,639sq ft (10,000sq m).
Developed by a subsidiary of the Russian Stroïmontage Group, the towers have been designed by the Paris-based Jacques Ferrier Architects and will be built by Bouygues Construction.
