Palazzo Versace Dubai details revealed
The AED2.3bn (£395m, 491m euro, US$627m) Palazzo Versace Dubai resort on the edge of the Dubai Creek in the UAE will launch in early 2010.
The 5.5 hectare development will comprise 215 hotel suites and 169 private residences as well as restaurants and a large day spa.
The Salus Per Aquum spa will offer a wide range of therapies including massages, body wraps and sea salt body treatments. The spa is being designed to be very similar to its sister facility, which is located at the flagship Palazzo Versace Gold Coast property in Australia.
The Emirates Sunland Group – a joint venture between the Sunland Group and Emirates International Holdings – will develop and manage Palazzo Versace Dubai, while the House of Versace will design the interiors.
