Olympic sports psychologist Chris Shambrook – who was part of the winning Great Britain rowing team in Athens – and his business partner Matt Barker plan to use their expertise to train health and fitness leaders and team managers.

Their aim is to develop, within industry players, the high performance mindset that is needed to succeed in the business environment.

Using psychological tools practised daily by top Olympic athletes, their company, Headstart Consulting Group, will run a one-day High Impact Leadership Workshop in February next year.

This will give participants the tools they need to build confidence, concentration and determination, enabling them to implement these in everyday challenges, the duo claim.
