Nottingham Forest unveils new training venue
Nottingham Forest Football Club (NFFC) has unveiled a new £1.5m training facility - part of a proposed three-stage development at its Academy complex.
Clegg Construction started work on the 810sq m (8,719sq ft) facility last June, which boasts a gym; treatment and medical rooms; a canteen and leisure area; and a team meeting suite. Cybex has fitted the gym as part of an £18,500 contract with the club, which includes two Arc Trainers and Big Iron Series equipment.
The Benoy-designed venue also includes offices to be used by NFFC manager Billy Davies and coaching staff, as well as changing facilities for senior players. NFFC finance director John Pelling said: "By not having to share office and changing facilities any more both the senior and academy departments will be able to operate more effectively and efficiently in the future."
Maber Project Planning also worked on the training facility scheme.
