Northern members invited to Planning for Tourism Seminar
Northern members of the British Hospitality Association are invited to attend a Planning for Tourism seminar at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton.
Organised by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in collaboration with the Regional Partners, the free seminar will take place at the Reebok Stadium on 16 July between 10.30am and 1.30pm.
The seminar will address and examine the Good Practice Guide on Planning for Tourism one year after its publication, and look at developing tourism in the region for the future.
Also expected to attend are representatives from the local and regional planning authorities, the tourism industry, Government Offices, Regional Assemblies, Regional Development Agencies, Tourist Boards, Destination Management Organisations, Tourism Officers, Cultural Consortiums and Economic Development Managers.
This is an excellent opportunity for members to meet with these individuals first hand and to shape tourism policy in the north.
For any queries regarding the event, please contact Mark Graham by e-mail at [email protected], or telephone +44 (0)20 7211 6326.
