New spa opens at The Houstonian
Trellis, The Spa, opened its doors to Houstonian guests and members on 26 May, providing more than 100 different treatments and services.
The two-storey Mediterranean-style building – designed by Kirksey Architects – is situated adjacent to the 280-room The Houstonian Hotel and Houstonian Club fitness facility.
Trellis, themed around the concept of water, features 19 treatment rooms, spread over 17,000sq ft, which include eight rooms for body treatment, six facial rooms, two couples’ suites – each including two treatment tables, couples showers and tubs – one single VIP suite, one Vichy Shower room and one Hydrotherapy room.
The new facility also features a full-service salon on its first floor, with six hair styling stations, seven manicure stations and four pedicure stations.
Visitors will be able to choose from a selection of treatments for women, plus specially designed products for teens and mothers-to-be. An additional 20 treatments designed just for men are available and Trellis is planning a dedicated men’s suite for the future.
Trellis spa director, Vanessa Harris, said: "Trellis is designed to transport you from your everyday world to a place where you can connect with the life you want and deserve."
The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Trellis Spa are located on North Post Oak Lane, to the west of the centre of Houston. Details: www.houstonian.com
