Pevonia Botanica has launched two new items of spa / salon equipment.

The Ionto-Wellness Bed is fully automatic and has been specifically designed for cosmetic, massage, physiotherapy and relaxation.

It is fitted with four motors to provide a range of adjustments, features wood paneling and comes with a divided cushion, white medical upholstery cushion with heater. The bed is 196cm long by 85cm wide and the chair/table height is adjustable between 58 - 89cm.

Also new is a self-contained and portable Skin Scanner, which uses Ultra Violet Black Light to let both therapist and client 'see beneath the skin'.

During its analysis the scanner shows different colours which relate to a specific skin condition. This information is entered on a prescription sheet which is then used to prescribe the correct treatment and home care routine.

It is also possible to take pictures from the machine with a digital camera for downloading onto a PC for saving to a client's record file.
