New partnerships for Annecy 2018 bid
Annecy's 2018 Winter Olympic bid team has revealed that it has netted six new commercial partnerships worth more than EUR3m (£2.7m) in cash and value in kind services.
Air France and luxury group Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton are among those to sign up to the agreements, along with France-based public utility company GDF Suez. Other partnerships agreed by the Annecy 2018 team include Havas Sport and Entertainment and GL Events, as well as public health and welfare advisors Institut Merieux.
Annecy 2018 president Charles Beigbeder said: "This new support from internationally renowned sponsors is a clear indication of the growing strength of this bid. "It also shows the commercial potential of an authentic Games in France using the global sporting platform of the French Alps."
