Ministry of Sound to roll out Minibar idea
London-based superclub Ministry of Sound is to launch a new bar chain called Minibar.
The first Minibar will open in Harrogate, North Yorkshire in March and there are plans to open up to 30 sites in major towns around the UK.
Influenced by member’s bars and luxury hotel bars, the new concept will feature four main zones with a different ‘atmosphere’ in each.
The first zone will be styled like a lounge, the second will either have a cocktail or shot bar, the third will feature hot tub seating and private booths and the fourth zone will boast a dancefloor.
A spokesperson for Ministry of Sound said: “Minibar will revolutionise the high street, leaving behind the smoke-filled pubs, homogeneous bars and outdated clubs and replacing them with a venue that offers every desired element of a night out.” Details: www.mos-minibar.com
