Maze opens at Drusillas
A new interactive maze attraction has opened at Drusillas Park in East Sussex.
Built by Leicester-based theming and design specialist Meticulous, the Eden Eye maze replaces the park's old Bug World attraction.
Eden Eye is a new, sensory maze quest based on the four Elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water.
Guests will be tasked with finding a garden called Eden's Eye and the 'golden apple' growing somewhere within it.
Dean Weal, director of Meticulous, said: "We wanted visitors to really enjoy losing themselves in the maze, and for it not to be a frustrating waste of time like so many of the mazes we visited while doing our research.
"We particularly wanted to use unexpected, magical features, like the talking statue, to give clues and a magic lamp on the fire path that guests rub to hear another clue and which gives off a smoke effect."
In addition to decorations and props, the maze includes interactives such as water squirts, smells and touch based triggers.
The maze has also been designed to provide equal access with wide, wheelchair-friendly walkways.
