Abbeycroft Leisure renews Matrix contract

Equipment provider Matrix Fitness has secured a new seven-year deal to supply its kit to public centres operated by Abbeycroft Leisure.

Matrix has supplied Abbeycroft’s sites since 2009, and in its first year the partnership resulted in the leisure trust’s Haverhill Leisure Centre in Suffolk becoming the first public facility to offer Matrix's G7 strength range and MyRide consoles.

Abbeycroft currently operates 12 sites in Suffolk and has recently won contracts to manage two further sites.

It is also due to revamp fitness facilities at its Newmarket site, with new Matrix kit expected to be installed in October.
