Mantra Deep Blue to open in November
A new AUS$2m (1.2m euro, £0.84m, US$1.7m) geothermal destination spa is to open in November within the Mantra Deep Blue Resort in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia.
Owned by Barbro Investments, who also own Mantra Deep Blue Resort, the 8,073sq ft (750sq m) new facility will be called the Deepwater Baths and Spa.
Facilities will include a large indoor heated swimming pool, three treatment rooms, two hydrotherapy areas, four individual private hot pool rooms and a private spa therapy pool.
The Australian spa brand Waterlily will be used while therapies will also take advantage of the mineral-rich geothermal water extracted from deep beneath the property.
The spa has been designed in a homage to an original bath house, which was fundamental to early tourism in Warrnambool. It will be part of the Australian Stella Hospitality Group.
