Life Time launches luxury living at new Connecticut property
Premium health club operator, Life Time, has opened its first ever property in the state of Connecticut, combining a full-service health club with luxury residences and a rooftop "beach club".
The new Life Time Stamford Downtown property features a 52,000 square foot athletic country club, a 10,000 square foot rooftop beach club and 290 luxury residences – leased under the Life Time Living brand..
Housed in a 10-storey, vertically integrated tower, the club offers membership to members of the public, while residents of Life Time Living receive a full-access membership too – alongside all 170 Life Time destinations across North America.
The Athletic Club has six studios offering Life Time's collection of classes – from barre, indoor cycling and HIIT to Pilates, strength training and yoga – a fitness floor for cardio and resistance training and a dedicated small group training area.
There are also a range of luxury wet amenities, with a selectio of steam rooms and saunas.
All members will have access to the full-service LifeCafe, the rooftop beach club with a lap pool and lounge area on the second floor of the project, and LifeSpa massage services.
The residential aspect offers junior one-, one- two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 540 square feet to more than 2,000 square feet.
Life Time Living also offers Concierge Wellness programming, which connects residents' at-home and in-club lifestyles, designed to make healthy living "easy, fun and sustainable".
The Concierge team can assist with weekly meal prep from the LifeCafe, booking personal training and nutrition coaching sessions, reserving studio classes and recommending and scheduling personalised treatments with LifeSpa massage therapists.
Parham Javaheri, Life Time's chief property development officer, said: "Building on the success we've experienced with our destinations in New York and New Jersey, we're very excited to open our first development in Connecticut.
"The turn key delivery of the athletic club lease also aligns with our asset light growth strategy."
