Leisure Connection Hotel and Private Management (LCHPM) - the operator of outsourced leisure facilities - has reported a 36 per cent increase in membership across the UK during the past 12 months.
The company – which is part of leisure management group Leisure Connection – currently operates 15 hotel-based facilities and has worked with Park Inn and Radisson Blu, part of the Rezidor Group, to invest more than £200,000 in provision across its sites.
Improvements carried out by LCHPM include the installation of new gym and fitness equipment, and the upgrade of swimming pool facilities.
Steve Banbury, the group's head of energy and hotels, said: "Outsourcing the management of health and leisure facilities is proving more popular and it's no surprising with these results."
