L’Occitane spa opens at Four Seasons Singapore
L’Occitane is opening its first spa with Four Seasons this month, at the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.
The spa – L’Occitane’s first in Singapore – will be the only L’Occitane spa to offer the brand’s Neroli & Orchidee treatments. A signature Neroli & Orchidee Relaxing Massage combines Neroli essence – an essential oil produced from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree and used by Egyptian priests – with white orchid absolute from Madagascar.
A signature scrub uses the same scents, and adds in shea butter sourced from L’Occitane’s partnership with women in Burkina Faso, who it supports with literacy and micro-credit programmes to help them maintain sustainable businesses.
“The spa is a natural extension of the L’Occitane brand: authentic ingredients with proven effectiveness, fused with traditional therapies in exclusive spa treatments, to offer a true voyage of the senses and revitalisation of body and soul,” said Andre Hoffman, L’Occitane president for Asia Pacific.
With spa and fitness facilities encompassing a total of 6,000sq m (65,000sq ft), the hotel features saunas, steamrooms, a 24-hour gym, private exercise studio, two outdoor swimming pools, and four tennis courts.
As in all L’Occitane spas, hand-performed treatments are preferred over machines. The spa also features visiting therapists from Four Seasons resorts in Bali and the Seychelles, who join the team for six months at a time during off-peak season at their resorts.
