LIW kicks off at NEC
Leisure Industry Week 2012, 'Where Innovation Meets Inspiration', has kicked off at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre today with a show floor packed with more than 300 suppliers.
Around 9,000 leisure industry professionals are expected to visit the three-day event.
Show highlights include The Independent Operators Unite Forum; The REPs National Convention and The Play Providers Association (PPA) annual conference.
Meanwhile, the CPD area will allow visitors to LIW to collect CPD points by booking onto training sessions and seminars.
The LIW Education Village will offer more than 150 hours of free seminar content which runs this week from Tuesday 18 - Thursday 20 September.
LIW has also commissioned customer insight and business intelligence provider Leisure-net Solutions to produce a market intelligence report into the rapidly expanding and increasingly popular outdoor fitness sector.
The report will be outlined as part of the Education Village programme at LIW 2012 and will be made available for download to visitors after the event has taken place.
