SH Structures has been appointed by the Helix Trust to build two 30m (98ft)-high stainless steel-plated horses' heads that will form part of a major £41m regeneration scheme in central Scotland.
The new sculptures - The Kelpies - have been devised by Glasgow-based artist Andy Scott and will contribute to the transformation of the landscape around Falkirk and Grangemouth.
In March, Dundee-based architects Nicoll Russell Studios secured a £1m contract to design a new visitor centre - another component of the 350-hectare (865-acre) Helix Project.
Scott said: "I see The Kelpies as a personification of that history, of the lost industries of Scotland, but I also see them as a symbol of modern Scotland - proud and majestic."
SH Structures sales and marketing manager Tim Burton said: "Projects of this nature and scale are rare and provide a significant opportunity to be involved in delivering a lasting legacy."
